At Point Vicente, we offer students practical and interactive activities in Science. Learning through fun, and hands-on projects helps kids learn engineering concepts. Students are also able to visit and enhance their science experience in our outdoor garden classroom where students participate in planting and study decomposition and botany.
Point Vicente Elementary offers general and instrumental music. These services are provided thanks to the Peninsula Education Foundation (PEF). Our music teachers work collaboratively with classroom teachers in order to enable children to find new ways of communication and self-expression. In addition, Point Vicente also counts with Arts at your Fingertips, a program that brings standards-based education projects that combine art techniques, art history and aesthetics in lessons that meet California visual arts standards for elementary.
Students also have an opportunity to participate in field-trips and/or assemblies where they are exposed to different experiences in the arts: Music, Dance and Visual Arts.
