Mission Statement:

The Point Vicente PTA was founded in 1964 and form more than 60 years, that tradition of community and support has continued to grow. Our mission has always been to bring families, teachers, and our school community together to help every student shine bright. Through fundraising, we support and enrich educational programs and opportunities that enhance the student experience. We are committed to fostering family engagement, building school spirit, and supporting our students and staff.

Together we strive to be beacons of encouragement, connection, and opportunity- creating a school community where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Point Vicente Elementary School PTA is committed to creating a nurturing environment while promoting a culture of respect, diversity, equity, and inclusion. All students must feel that their identity is known and respected. Our mission is to help students learn about and preserve acceptance in order to strengthen our communities and future generations.

Becoming a PTA member is an easy way to support Pt. Vicente and stay connected to what's happening at our school. You don't have to volunteer countless hours to make a difference. Simply becoming a member, attending meetings when you can, sharing your ideas, and staying engaged all help strengthen our PTA and our school community.

At our PTA General Meetings, you'll hear important school and district updates, learn from special guest speakers and community leaders, and get an inside look at how PTA funds are being used. Most importantly, members have the opportunity to share ideas, provide input, and vote on how we invest in our students and school community.

Why We Fundraise

The funding available to our school does not cover everything we would like to provide for our students. Organizations like the PTA and the Peninsula Education Foundation work to raise money that helps supplement and enrich our children’s educational experience.

With the generosity of our families and community, the PTA helps fund educational programs, emergency preparedness supplies, field trip transportation, classroom and school technology and much more. We also support fun, community-building events that bring our students and families together and help Pt. Vicente such a special place.

Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every act of support makes a difference. Together, we can provide our students with opportunities and experiences that go beyond what school funding alone can provide.
