Hunger Hero Bags

Tomorrow we will be sending home black reusable bags for our Hunger Heroes food drive. If you would like to participate, please follow the guidelines included inside the bag to donate food items to help feed families and children of need in the South Bay. This is completely voluntary. Please return filled bags to Room 6 by Friday, January 18th. Thank you for your support!

"Puff" Party

The class has filled their behavior jar with puffs and have earned a special party! We will wear pajamas to school next Friday, 12/14 and the children can bring ONE toy from home to play with during afternoon free choice. Please make sure to limit the toy to appropriate school items (no weapons) and nothing fragile or irreplaceable.

Thanksgiving

TK Families:

Wishing you a wonderful week off with loved ones and family! School will resume on Monday, November 26th. There will be no homework over break- enjoy your time off!

Remember: Permission slips for the walking field trip are due on 11/26 when we return to school. The field trip will take place on 11/28.

AAYF this week 11/8

This is just a friendly reminder that this week's AAYF project is MESSY and STAINS so please send your child to school in clothes that you are okay with potentially getting messy (they do wear aprons but messes happen!). Thanks!

Field Trip $

Just a reminder: field trip ticket money is due next Friday, November 9th. Please send in $12 cash in an envelope with your child's name on the front. I will be selecting chaperones on November 7th who will also need to cover $12 for their entry as well.  More details regarding the field trip to come as the date gets closer.

Halloween Parade

The Halloween parade will be on Wednesday, October 31st @9:00 on the blacktop. Please have your child in his/her costume with a change of clothes in their backpack. We will be changing them out of their costumes right after the parade so that they do not get ruined before trick-or-treating!

This will also be an ALL TOGETHER DAY so Later Gators will come to school from 8:30-1:35. Hope to see you all then!

Skecher's Walk

Sign up to participate in our annual Skecher's Walk that helps to raise money for PEF. You can sign up to participate in the walk or as a virtual walker. The students who sign up as walkers will earn a special movie and treat on Halloween. The class with the most walkers will also receive a prize! Fliers with more information are going home today.

Red Ribbon Week 10/15-10/19

Wear red on Wednesday, October 17th to show your support for Red Ribbon Week! We are sharing the message with students that school is a safe place to be. Show your school support and wear something red!
